Pipe Core teamed up with Master Plumbers to showcase the latest drain cleaning tech, giving trainers hands-on experience to pass on to the next generation.

In late 2024, Pipe Core partnered with Master Plumbers to deliver a tailored demonstration at Pipe Core’s training facilities for the Master Plumbers training team.

This collaboration was built on a shared commitment to advancing industry knowledge and equipping trainers with firsthand experience of cutting-edge drain cleaning technology.

With a focus on innovation and efficiency, Pipe Core tailored a hands-on session showcasing the latest advancements in drain cleaning tools and equipment sourced from its stable of internationally renowned suppliers.

The training was designed to address key challenges faced by plumbers in the field, providing trainers with valuable insights they could pass on to apprentices progressing through the Master Plumbers training program.

During the demonstration, Master Plumbers trainers had front-row seats to an extensive range of best practice pipeline maintenance techniques, gaining exposure to the latest tools and methodologies shaping the industry.

The session covered CCTV push-rod camera technology, demonstrating how these advanced inspection tools can be used to develop strategic maintenance schedules.

Trainers also witnessed non-invasive drain cleaning techniques, including unblocking toilets without removal, soft blockage removal, descaling and methods to address failed liners and hard blockages. Additionally, the demonstration highlighted the benefits of using smoke testing to detect leaks and illegal connections, offering a practical and effective approach to identifying pipeline issues.

Beyond the technical demonstrations, the event facilitated valuable discussions between Pipe Core’s team and Master Plumbers trainers, allowing for an exchange of industry knowledge and insights. By working together, both teams were able to explore the full potential of no-dig pipeline maintenance solutions, reinforcing the importance of modern, non-invasive methods in the plumbing sector.

“It was a pleasure connecting with the Master Plumbers team and showcasing some of the innovative tools and equipment we are introducing to the plumbing industry. These demonstrations provide a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge and highlight the cutting-edge solutions that are now available to the Australian and New Zealand plumbing industry,” Pipe Core CEO Jason Marshall said.

The training session was equally well received by Master Plumbers, with Wayne Diffey, Training Operations Manager, acknowledging the value it brought to their team.

“We gained some great professional development for staff and an insight into your fantastic business,” he said.

Recognising the growing demand for efficient, non-invasive drain cleaning solutions, Pipe Core is further supporting Master Plumbers members by offering an exclusive five per cent discount on all equipment. This initiative aims to encourage the adoption of modern drain cleaning technologies among plumbers and reliners, helping them enhance service delivery while reducing the need for disruptive excavation methods.

Building on the momentum of this successful collaboration, Pipe Core and Master Plumbers are already planning another hands-on training event for Master Plumbers members. This upcoming session will provide additional opportunities for industry professionals to experience the latest advancements in drain cleaning and pipeline maintenance firsthand.
